I am
a consumer educator at heart.
T-Mobile. McDonald's. Microsoft. Domino's. Seattle's Best Coffee. Safeco Insurance. eHarmony. Pep Boys. I've had the opportunity to work on some amazing brands in my career, bringing a mix of direct and digital marketing, advertising, social media, content marketing, brand storytelling, public relations, events and more to the table, all in an effort to educate consumers about a new product or service, increase customer engagement, or drive a deeper connection to a brand. Driving trial, aquiring customers and keeping customers happy and coming back for more has been the focus of my entire career. And I love it.
I keep dozens of plates spinning; know how to get clients, strategists and creatives all to like and respect me; motivate my teams to develop new ideas to grow our business and that of our clients; know how to manage change; and am humble enough to know that no task is beneath me.
I'm fortunate enough to have been part of innovative work that's won two Cannes Lions, an EFFIE, an ECHO, a Webby, a Clio, a Pencil, two Silver Anvils, a handfull of Totems and three Best of Show titles.
In my spare time, I serve as Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 1565, President of the Board of Trustees for The Island School on Bainbridge Island, and Regional President of The Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. I also run the Seattle Radio, Advertising & Television softball league.
One of my favorite foods is risotto. My least favorite is olives. They're just gross.
